Hi All

Just in case anyone else, like me, didn't know.

I saw a "Thick glass worktop saver" for £3.99 (stop groaning at the back)
and at 12mm thick thought I could use it as a cheep source of glass to make
a tool or practice making flats to use up the left-over grits and just to do
some glass pushing for knowledge and experience. I realised this wasn't a
good idea when, while trepanning, it exploded. (in hind sight, it was rather
spectacular). Certainly got some experience there! My fault for not checking
here first. So, just in case other novice lurkers like me, are thinking of
trying
this, be warned.
