[ATM] draper

Dear list
  finished with draper machine construction and want to grind a 12" mirror F/4.5 newtonian with 1/6" sagita .......I have been making mirrors with hand and not much expirence wid machine grinding and polishing

  there are also vidoes which I searched on youtube  on draper machine total nine by a belgium guy it is seen in this video he used sub diameter tool I had many question but could not contact him regaring using draper machine 
   
  what happen when we use 50% area tool or 70% area tool on top and mirror at bottom what does the area signify?
   
  how @ going with the stroke in one video 1.I see the subdiameter tool while overhang almost touches the edges of the mirror and while stroke it comes out of the mirror edges...............2.while in another video I see the stroke the tool touches the edges of the mirror and for overhang it is inside the edges .........what do this two cases do ? is it that first is used for parabola and 2nd used for getting the initial sphere?
