If you are thinking of a carry on design for air transport, F/7 makes a
"long" scope. However, you could still have your trusses full length.
Think in terms of checking your trusses as normal luggage, packed in one
long box and not as "carry on". This will open up your design
possibilities.

I am trying to prepare for a relocation overseas (not for a while, but
fairly certain it will happen) and would like to see if my 10" F/7 DOB
can be redesigned into something like a teleport design. I would
definitely need it to be as compact as possible and would love it if the
trusses could be collapsible like the teleport.
