Bearings are about $8 apiece at a local bearng supply house.
Sealed bearings are desirable but you can also go with cheaper
unsealeed bearings.
Then there is always the hobby shop that caters to the RC car
people and they may have bearings ofr less.
Finally, you really don't even need ball bearings as teflon pads
will do the job and won't let the focuser slide in/out as easily
undre the weight of the eyepiece. There's one company that
builds their focusers with a pair of teflon tubes with metal
inside instead of the four bearings and it works very well.
