Not necessarily. Some Maks have a secondary reflective surface that
is separate from meniscus and need to be supported. Since this person
is talking about a visual observation, this cannot be a Mak camera,
so I would expect a secondary in this system. Placing it as a separate
optic as compared to a Gregory is a lot easier and I have seen
commercial designs like this.
