There was an article in Sky & Telescope, somewhere between a half and a
full year ago (I think, maybe further back, but less than two years
ago), that focused on eye-glasses wearing astronomers and the new
options available today with both their optics and their optometrist.

Explained the technical details concerning different vision problems.
About the issues with aging,
The new techniques and discoveries today for fixing it.
Custom prescriptions that can aid with night-vision.
The different lasik procedures.
I seem to recall a brief section about modified telescope optic options,

Etc.

I thought it was a very informative article on the topic.  I fully plan
on bringing it up with the Optometrist at my next eye exam.

I hate to say it, but I don't have an issue number for reference.  I
can't seem to locate that one right now.
I had help misplacing it...  The wife went on a cleaning binge a while
back and I haven't figured out where she put it yet, but it's around
here somewhere if no one can find it.
