[ATM] Malacara, Flats etc... topic was "They come through for me, again"

Malacara edited and/or wrote books with titles like "Optical Shop Testing" among others. You can sometimes find these on eBay for outlandish prices and on the book sellers lists for even higher prices. Must be good reference material but I've not been lucky enough to run across one that I can afford to purchase.
   
  The old ATM series of books has an extensive treatment on making flats with the 3 disk method; which, by-the-way, is not the only way to test flats. You can make a single flat by focault testing against a spherical mirror. You don't need 3 blanks for this method.
