  You could do it with the forsten bits, but use it first before 
drilling the through hole.  If you drill the through hole first it is 
difficult to keep the forstner bit centered.  You also want to clamp the 
part down well with a couple of C-clamps or equivelent.  Use the lowest 
speed possible and some lubrication.  Parafin wax makes a good cutting 
lube for cutting aluminum.
