I recently purchased some cerium oxide from Tom at Got Grit. I am happy
with the product, but I can't clean it off the mirror so that I can perform
the maglight test for polish.


Any suggestions?

If I am correct, there really shouldn't be any one the mirror. After you
polish you immediately rinse with water to get the mix off there so it
doesn't dry on there. If it does it can cause etching. I believe others say
it can be polished off without too much trouble.
