If you're only reading it to yourself, pronunciation
doesn't matter.  Of course, if you're going to speak
on it, it might not be a good idea to use a Raunchy
grating to test your mirror.  Houghton...  well, I'm
not sure what that sounds like but I'd almost be
certain or certainly wrong by saying that it's HOW -
ton.  But that's because I'm from New England and we
talk funny.
