If you're doing a Dobsonian mount, you really don't want to view
in the zenith area anyway.  I'd just make the tube so the mirror
is at the bottom of the tube and then the rocker box so that the
bottom of the tube as close to the ground as possible.  This will
allow the tube to go to the max elevation possible for the scope
without going to a ladder to see.
