Well, since no one has replied, I will go out on a limb and say that
the diagrams of simple achromats I have seen in catalogs, etc, have
stronger curvatures on the front.
If you want to check it further, view a star with it, and see which
way provides better color correction.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. I know very little about
lenses. Mostly I stick to mirrors.
