[ATM] Cutting small glass discs

I can get small (3" or so) diamond core bits pretty inexpensively, so I'm
looking at using them tocut mirror blanks rather than the grit + tube
method.  These are dry-cut bits, so I'm wondering about dust control.  I
have a central dust collection system for my woodworking tools.  Is this
sufficient for handling glass dust, or would it blow through the filter bags
and right back into the air?  I have just standard cloth filters, not the
HEPA type.
