OK, OK,
Just for giggles I called my local "hardware store" NOTE not to be 
confused with those big huge stores.
They sell regular old 100% pure gum turpentine in quarts for $9 and some 
change, no limit on how many you want to buy!
Just to set part of this thread to rest (men in black coats)
I am in Southern California, and for those of you close I called my 
favorite store Mcfadden-Dale hardware. No connection I just choose to 
support them because they have people who actually know what "that thing 
is" and usually have it in stock.
They have stuff you just can't find in big stores.
