I produced a planetary image simulation for the thin mirror.  It is here:

I assumed a central obstruction of 20%, which is probably the best you
can do for an f/3.5.  In the second and third frames, I correct the
mirror for spherical aberration and then for primary astigmatism (much
easier to do in software than in reality).

Unfortunately, I am unable to do a simulation for a low-power image of
the full moon.  It would be interesting to see what the large craters
look like in a low-power view.
