[ATM] Carpet pad bump distortion on ultrathin mirror
I have the mirror resting back about 5 deg. The
support at top is a 1/2 inch diameter carpet pad
typically used on some mirror cells. The bottom
supports are pegs. I have turned off any astigmatism
terms so that you can see the effect of the carpet pad
on the 3/8 thick slumped plate glass mirror.

The pad is inside the top edge. You can also see the
top folding over above the pad.
The magnitude rise is small (65 nm) about 1/5 wave on
the wavefront but you can see what even a little force
from this lightweight mirror resting back at 5 deg can
cause. Think what it must be when in a more
horizontal position.
Can anyone model similar in PLOP?
