I am not FEA expert but as far as I know PLOP is a FEA based
analysis program. I suspect that it is  possible to calculate
support points and then discard some of them without negating
premises or preconditions used by PLOP to calculate remained points.
If that is true than it is irrelevant if remaining points are PLOP
calculated or guessed by intuition based  "black magic".
Using PLOP in this way reminds me on "Cargo Cult".
