[ATM] David Davis's ultrathin surface revealed in stunning 3Dtechnicolor

Comming to a theater near you....

As Steve Koehler last posted we figured out a way to
get the test stand errors removed from David Davis's
16 x 3/8 mirror. I think this image gives you a much
better idea of the surface error than Steve's contour
maps. This is the surface with the test stand error
removed.

The circular grey lines are the 1/4 wave limits. The
colors have no meaning they just help show the surface
better.

This image was generated by my OpenFringe software
from the Zernike values that Steve generated. As you
can see I have now added good solid modeling to that
program.

By the way this mirror is what the Ronchi challange
image came from.

Next I will be able to study mirror support issues
with it. Since now the surface is known I can remove
it in software like Steve did to show the test stand
errors in his post.
