I must apologize for being such a scatterbrain. To get things clear I'll
give my findings as they really were.
Inside the ROC the lines at the edge bend outwards.
Outside the ROC the lines at the edge bend inwards.
So, if I get you right, this means I have a turned up edge.
Do you agree? Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a bit confusing, since you said the same thing
twice by accident.
If the lines OUTSIDE the ROC bend sharply outwards at
the endge of the mirror, you have a turned-down edge,
which is very common and quite difficult to get rid
of; it will take at least an hour of work.. If the
lines INSIDE the ROC bend sharply outwards of the edge
of the mirror, then you have a turned-up edge, which
is much less common and much easier to eliminate.
