[ATM] Steel tubing for mirror cell
I've come up with a sketch based on Matt's four-pin suggestion:

The height of the support pins is somewhat approximate, assuming that the triangles will be at the same height as the swivel bars. The pins have to be thicker than those in the earlier design, to keep the swivel bars from contacting the mirror edge; if I use wider tubing (I'm beginning to consider 1.25" aluminum), the pins will get even bigger. A Teflon washer separates the bar from the cell frame. The full weight of the mirror (pointed at horizon) still falls on two bolts - the swivel bolts - but the bolts are a lot shorter and should be able to handle the weight better than the pins of original design.
There's another way to do a two-pin design: use a 2" diameter cylinder of nylon (assuming it's available in that size) to make the pins, and drill not one but two holes so each will be supported with two bolts.
