[ATM] 30" Flats

Hello group:

 

I thought this might be of interest. I got a call yesterday from Roger Reid.
He has three 30" diameter x 2" thick BK7 windows that were made by Tinsley
labs. The windows are polished flat on both sides and have interferometric
certs showing that they are 1/10 wave flat over any 16" aperture. These
would be good for mirror testing, or you could use them as mirror blanks.
Roger is asking $4K each but is willing to negotiate with an atm buyer.
Large flats are pretty hard to come by so I thought I would pass this info
along to you in case anyone out there would like to take advantage of a rare
opportunity.
