Perhaps you would be interested in my focuser,
http://www.clementfocuser.com/pages/1/index.htm , since one of the main
design attributes is an extremely low profile of just one inch (25mm). The
low profile is possible because  my focuser uses a Hyperlon  rubber flexible
bellows that collapses into the  1" high focuser body instead of  using a
solid fixed length tube found in other types of focusers.
