I would be sort of reserved in regard to this kind of comparison. There is a
number of factors besides primary mirror itself influencing final
performance. The seeing changes constantly, and it may favor one over the
other at any time. Distribution of the warm bodies (observers) for the two
may not be identical. Diagonal flat is not the same. Structural quality and
properties are not identical, even if built by one same person in the same
manner. It takes just a small difference in the degree of miscollimation for
noticeable effect on subtle details. The spot one's standing on may be a bit
less comfortable for one scope, causing slightly more of physical - and
eye - strain, and so on. Some of these factors can be written off after
repeated numerous comparisons, but some of them will always be suspects. It
would take me very long time (read: forever) to decide one mirror is better
than the other one based on small at-the-eyepiece performance differences.
