Principles of Optics:
Electromagnetic Theory of Propagation, Interference and Diffraction of Light
(7th Edition, October 1999)
by Max Born and Emil Wolf

I found this on Amazon and took a look at the table of contents. Wow, there
doesn't seem to be anything left out.
Also, I didn't realize at first that this was THE Max Born. I also found
that he died in 1970 at the time of the 4th edition. The later editions
must have been ghost-written. ;)

Don

BTW Jim, what are "false aplanats"? ;) ;)
