I'm using a 2" Crayford focuser (JMI) with eyepieces
that range from 32mm (Edmund 2" ERFLE) to Nagler 3.5mm
Type 6.
The ERFLE wants the image at the end of a 1.81"
barrel, whereas the Naglers generally have much
shorter, or internal, field stops.  I was successful
at a design that allows focus of all eyepieces and
keeps the focuser from protruding into the telescope
tube.  It can be done if some thought is given to the
full travel range of the focuser, adjusting the extra
focuser travel and margin, and playing other
tricks...meaning, I've made an adapter for the ERFLE
to make it work and I'm using the TeleVue 2" - 1.25"
adapter to make the Type 6's work as well.
