Re: [ATM] Telescope Focusing at Public Events
That's an interesting question. My vision has take its mid-life dive over
the last year and I've been thinking about this.
Now, when I'm at a public star party, I focus the scope with my glasses on.
This will mean that it's in focus for anyone with a current eyeglass or
contact lens prescription and will be close to focus for people who have
sharp long distance vision. For people with marginal vision who take their
glasses off, you're out of luck. It's up to them to focus to their
particular vision characteristics. When there are alot of people, focus
with your glasses, and tell the viewers to keep their glasses on.
