Howdy, Gang: I have two passions in my shop life: making telescopes, and 
making wooden sea kayaks. It seems a new guy has popped up on a major yak 
builders' forum lately, name of Bob May. So Bob, are you making kayaks these days?

Anyway, I thought I'd post this OT message since I just received a couple 
emails from ATMList folks who "wondered where I'd gotten off to". The answer is 
nowhere; I'm still here, and still making telescopes (last one was a 22" f/4.5 
with all the bells and whistles, delivered last year). But I also wonder if 
any of y'all are paddlers, or better yet, "AKM's"?
