Re: [ATM] 12 inch binocular scope

The eye can be amazingly adaptable to differences in size between the two
eyes. I've got 20-200 vision in my right eye and 20-40 in my left. This
means that when I look over the edge of my right lens, the shrinkage of the
view is about 2" at about 60". This is about 2 degrees (a radian is about
57.3 degrees and, by definition, a radian is that amount of circumfrence as
the radius is) of diffeernece! Not a small amount by any means and yet, my
eyes turn that into a nice stereo vision.
Do both of the mirrors on the same tool and do them on the lap at the same
time and they should turn out more than good enough for an excellent view
even if the figuring gets to be a little bit different in focal length. You
will end up with two mirrors that will match to less than 1/2" in focal
length, probably less than 1/16" if you are consistant with working both
mirrors at the same time.
