[ATM] Newbie Eyepiece Question

My main scope is a homebuilt 8" f7.73 reflector. It's my first scope
and serves me quite well. I am considering buying a 2" Panoptic
eyepiece. My favorite observing targets are globulars, nebula and
galaxies.

My question is this: Can I use this eyepiece? Admittedly I am a bit
foggy about the light cone from the 1.52" secondary as it relates to
the view in the eypiece.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
