You say that your 12 inch weighs 39 pounds.  I was able to make my latest 20 
inch mount come in at 85 pounds, where 50 pounds is thanks to the primary. 
You only need structural material, so remove sections of parts that do not 
contribute to a direct support vector, or are not needed to distribute load 
bearing.
