RE: [ATM] Pit Stop (Pun) - Newbie needs advice.



Tom(s) and Bob thanks for all your wise words.  After examining the pits and
comparing them to the grains of 120 alox, I've come to the conclusion its
time to move on.  It has become clear that all I am achieving with further
wets is moving the pits around.  I think its just a case of realising that
I'm not making the mirror for the JWT here, just a lil 8'inch to take some
pretty snaps thru:)  Also I think I may have been applying a little too much
pressure and causing minute fractures instead of clean cut pits.  A few wets
with almost zero pressure seems to have gotten rid of almost all of the
pits.

Boy this is one hell of a learning curve, and man am I glad to be on it!!!
