Amazing no one else has answered yet, given the previous
interest. I am first curious what you are wanting more
exactly. Have you considered/compared a Baader type filter?
Do you need/want to be photometrically correct, or would
you like something cheap/simple to add to your existing
scope? Is your target the Sun, or something (almost)
infinitely smaller and more distant? An 8" F/6 Newt is a
tad too generic and general purpose for me to guess what
you're up to.

I think that once your question is a bit further evolved
some of the experts in here might pop up their heads and
offer suggestions.... that being said, I am not an expert.
