[ATM] RE: TDE

   Hello all,
               What a coincidence that the subject on the list is my battle
at the current time. I do believe that polishing in high temperatures can
cause a TDE. High temps. make the pitch too soft and roll the edge. I do
believe this is my case.
        Anyway I am not concerned at this time on what caused the TDE but
if I am headed in the right direction of correcting it.
   Originally the Ronchi tests showed the edge turning at a gradual curve.
I am to the point now where the Ronchi lines make a quick zag around the 
edge
with the classic "((   ))"  around the two sides.
          Am I headed in the right direction? or am I making things worse?
               Fire hydrant test is not too far away.
