Good move Guy,

I see one realistic scenario in the not so distant  future.
James Lerch  just made his grinding and polishing
machine . Several important functions of this machine
are under close computer control and can be programmed.

He also has very good and fast testing equipment.

And finally he is an extraordinary honest  experimenter.


If he becomes interested and involved in solving 
TDE problem as guy defined it, the proposed 
experiment will be performed quickly and efficiently.

Since  "Anything that can happen, will happen" combined with:
"Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. "
I see the TDE problem as almost solved.
