[ATM] Mirror Coating Recommendations, Anyone?

Hi Jay.

This is not an endorsement, just my two cents worth.

I finished a mirror yesterday and called Clausing this morning (before 
reading your e-mail message) for cost and shipping instructions.  The 
lady who took my call (answered on the third ring) was polite and 
knowledgeable and indicated that they are "swamped".   She said that I 
should expect about three weeks turn-around on a mirror the size of 
mine, 14.25".

Electronic communication is a wonderful tool, but not without it's 
flaws.  Nothing beats voice to voice communication.  Since your first 
inclination was to send your mirror to Clausing, perhaps you might give 
them a second chance and call them.  Based on my experiences (this is 
the second mirror that they will have coated for me) I think that you 
will be quite pleased.
