And from my vague recollection of French pronunciation, Foucault would be
pronounced "foo-coe" or something close to that (think of the vous in
rendezvous.) Also, while on the topic, I recall Doug George of Cyanogen
Software making a comment a couple of years ago that the preferred
pronunciation of Chetien is not "cree-shen" as stated in the archives, but
more like 'kreh-TCHIEN' (Doug's from Canada.)
