Hi Steve,
One expert from this list would recommend that you use half
a dozen clips and hammer them down tight ;-))))).
Others would tell you that Silicone will hold this mirror
just fine. You don't say what type of glass you are using, so
mosey over to this site and pick your poison.

The silicone doesn't care what type of telescope mount you use.

I sent this message out last week but got only one reply. What type of
edge
support schemes are used on all the larger ( 10 inch plus ) Equatorial or
Fork mounted reflector telescopes out there. The slings that are so
popular
with the Dob crowd won't work. What do they use?
