[ATM] I think a TDE?

It's turned down edge. You know, that dog scratch (I know, it was a piece
of sand from the dog, but it coulda been a scratch from the dog's nail)
would not have affected the performance of the mirror any. But, what's done
is done. Eliminating a TDE takes a great deal of work. Use a very short
stroke Center over Center for about 20 minutes at a stretch, after making
sure your lap is in excellent contact. Microfaceting and warm pressing will
help here. Test every 20 minutes or so; draw little pictures or take photos
so you can see how much progress you have made. There are other methods,
but this one often works. If it doesn't seem to make any progress after a
full 60 minutes of work, then maybe you should re-make the lap.

Or at least, this is our experience. Others may tell you different.

Hello to all,

I have a question for the group as I am confused on this one thing.  I had
a 
mirror, in a perfect sphere shape.  Had to go back to 220 due to a large 
scratch,  contaminated pitch from dog shaking sand/snow off.  Anyways, got 
it down, remade the pitch and polished away.  I went to test it yesterday 
and found that I have some kind of turned edge.  The center of the ronchi 
lines are straight up and down left to right, but the very bottom and very 
top of each line hooks in when inside ROC and hooks out when outside ROC.  
Sorry I did not get any photos of it, I will try to get some though.  Can 
anybody tell me what this is?  TDE or TUE.  and how to correct this issue?
