Hi All,
I did around one hour of grinding(#60 SiC) with the
glass tile tool for my 8". I see there is a depression
forming already at the center of the glass blank.
I can slip through a one Rupee coin(Indian Rupee)
through the depression. I guess it will be of the
thickness of USA One Quarter. I am seeing that there
is an outer ring on the glass blank, around a couple
of centimeters towards the edge which is still flat.
Not roughened up yet. Is this expected ? After one
hour of grinding the curve is still not spread till
the edges. Am I doing anything wrong here? Or do I
have to wait for the curve to be spread till the
edges?
Thanks in advance,
Satish/
