Yeah, less than 450 psi, similar to the original number you used, which was
ultimate or yield, or something. I don't know what gives with the Matweb
charts,  It pays to do a reality check sometimes.

Notice that shear stiffness is even lower.  Thermal expansion effects may be
acceptable in more cases than I would have guessed.  Does any one know how
to calculate mirror distortion from stretching the support points radially?
