[ATM] New? Idea for mirror support
Yes and no. Although you COULD support the mirror entirely by a post in a
central hole, this is not what I am proposing. The post (more like a pin,
really) in my idea provides no vertical support. At or near the zenith, the
post would not provide any support in any direction. The post in my idea is
glued to the back of the mirror, and it provides (only) horizontal support
to keep the mirror centered on the wiffle tree when the scope is pointed
toward the horizon.
