[ATM] shop tip
There is the various methods of oiling wood with such as tung oil and other
catylizing oils but that is a different process.
Sanding will always produce fuzz. Using finer grits will only make the fuzz
finer. The process to get rid of the fuzz is to paint with something
(paints, oils and so forth) and then sand the surface again to remove the
peaks of the fuzz. You can also scrape the surface if you so desire but
that will tend to make a very fine grained surface if the scraper isn't
perfectly smooth on its cutting edge.
