I have done some more homework in trying to decide if I want to use RTV or
an edge support.  I have taken the actual dimensions of my cell and made an
effort to calculate some reasonable numbers.  I struggled with this all
morning and kept coming up with one more variable than I had equations.
Eventually I made some different assumptions and came up with the numbers on
the sketch.  The vertical numbers add up to 4 pounds which is good.  The sum
of the moments balance out to zero as well. But,it bothers me that the total
horizontal numbers don't add up to zero but I think these numbers are close.

If this is about right, I am pretty sure I will be using some sort of edge
support.  My cell is multipurpose in that it can be adapted to a two point
edge support or a sling with very little effort.
