[ATM] Quirky idea



Dear Grey;
Think focus!!! All these photons are hitting us from deep space all the
time.  The reason we see them at night is because we have a contrast
situation that is congruent  with our eyes/brain, as well as a couple of
lenses to focus the incoming.  Without the benefit of the lenses of our
eyes they would be, only another bunch of unfocused photons, :^)  Space
imaging "works" because we are able to focus,  with the eye, spotting
scope or telescope focused on CCD. Hope this helps.
