[ATM] Tough as Tile, Quik-Tubes

Has anyone ever used the Tough As Tile epoxy stuff on a quik-tube, or at all
for that matter? How good is it? Does it provide full weatherproofing (I'd
assume as it is used in bathtubs)? Would the recommended coating for it be
2 coats primer, 2 coats Tough as Tile?
I have an 8", 48" long Quik-tube, and it doesn't appear to have wax on the
inside but I am told it does, how should i paint the inside? Just a light
sanding and then 2 coats flat black spray paint (or non-spray?). (I just
want to make sure it is 100% water proof and will last me for many years to
come) Is roughness in the surface of the inner tube considered a good thing?
Any advice from people who have experience with 6" f/8's in an 8"x48"
Quik-tube is appreciated.
Thanks,
Torquil
