Re plywood warping,
If it's already warped there's not much you can do.
If new & flat seal it with polyurethane on both sides,
West System epoxy also works for this. Plywood warps
mostly if one side dries faster than the other. Poor
quality ply might warp *anyway*..caveat emptor..
BTW I think this is *on* topic, as plywood is one
of the staple materials we use to build telescopes
and mounts.
