ATM FW: coating problems in the Seattle Area

Hello all,
We had discontinued mirror coating quite a number of months ago and have 
turned back mirror coating. We suggested them to go to Clausing or Spectrum 
and others.

Jeff came to us with a mirror. After telling that we had discontinued the 
service, he begged us to do it.

Our equipment is now optimized for high-precision interference filters only.

There is a question of accurate readings with the knife-edge system through 
the protective coating, which may exaggerate readings.

I have received complaints from various mirror makers about coatings from 
virtually every coater out there.

Our website will be updated. Jeff's mirror was the only mirror coated in the

last 5 months.
