OK, I'll have to agree with Don on this one, my black, but alloy steel
nylon tipped set screws on my daily driver 10" w/ Park rotating rings
have started rusting, but only the ones on top, which I assume is from
dew collecting.

So, I guess I'll have to order some of their Stainless Steel  Nylon
tipped set screws (on page 2537 of their 104 catalog). But, no stainless
nylon tipped thumb screws. My problem with nylon thumb screws, or other
protruding type plastic screws, is since I'm half blind, and stumble
into things, they break...  8+)
