The edges where the lines expand is an edge artifact, not any turning of the
edge one way or the other.  Please note that there is a difference between
the band changing width vs. the turning in or out right at the edge - that
is a turned edge.  If it's under a 1/8" then it's hardly worth the effort to
correct if the rest of the mirror is perfect.
