The original designs of the astigmatic secondary mirror were all warped
harness designs. As I recall it, the one axis of the mirror had a hook over
the edge of the mirror and a stud pressed on the back side of the mirror in
the center. I do believe that some of them also used a hose clamp around
the mirror which held the pulling part of the warping harness also so as to
keep the lip off of the edge of the mirror.
